But many people cannot read or
write yet. Hopefully one day we will
know how, and we will have the
Bible in Ik too!
Lots of people are Christians in
Uganda. That’s how I heard about
Jesus. I love Him very much, but
sometimes it is hard because I
don’t always understand what
the pastor is saying about Jesus.
Having a Bible in our own language
would be very good for my people.
Then we would 昀椀nally be able to
clearly understand what God is
saying to us. It would be like He
was speaking right to me, Kitella!
I hope that Kitella one
day has the Bible in Ik! It’s
really important for us to feel like
God is speaking to us. Next time you
read your Bible, you could pray that
kids like Kitella would one day
have the Bible too!
